Beautiful park! Unfortunately while we visited the main roads were closed off for cars but it's very much worth it to walk around on foot too! Park staff is extremely friendly and are great guides. Definitely worth a visit if you haven't been here before.
Nice, pretty park.. Very good for fishing.. You can bring lawn chairs, canopies etc to stay cool...Son also went to Summer camp here.. People are very respectful of wildlife, but not of vehicles, hard to get people to move out of the road when you are trying to pass.. The park should probably be a walk through park, that just allows skates, bikes....
Wonderful park, has many activities such as jet ski, paddle boat and kayaking. They have an underground tunnel that crosses A1A to the beach. This makes it safe to cross the street especially If you have kids. Once you pay admission, you can go in and out of the park as long as you show your receipt. The park staff was really friendly and helpful. The beach it self was really clean quiet and it was guarded. Be sure to bring your snorkel gear, you can see many fish near the shore.
Half the park was closed due to renovation. The restaurant drinks were great. Food was not hot or even like warm.
Review is for the kayak rentals only. Went here to kayak. Kayaking staff are super friendly. The trip is short, good for beginners. There's a great little bar where you can hang out afterward and have a bite and drinks. I only gave the kayak trip 3 stars because I honestly feel due to the length of the trip the cost is too high.
