Bottom line:
Sincerely;
Ms. Katrin Blumenfeld
I was attempting to evacuate my home immediately before Hurricane Irma.
Unsafe, bordering on criminal. My wife and I took a late night taxi from the Airport to our AirBnb and the taxi driver didn't have a license. He was in someone else's cab. He took us the long way and disputed my GPS route. Watch when you get in a cab that the driver matches the photo license in the cab. This guy was intimidating when it was time to get paid. I complained to the cab company later by email and all they did was sign me up for their email spam. A very bad company. No wonder Uber is doing well here. DO NOT USE THESE CABS! IT IS NOT SAFE!
Supposed to take this service through a voture system after a cancelled flight. Called once to get car, nothing. Called second e, they're coming. No car. Third time, hung up on. Last time, supervisor knew me by name, still no car. Took a uber instead of my "free transfer"
At my destination: NO STORM SHELTER! The driver then offered to take me to the same address the next town over. I automatically turned him down by telling him that I would not have enough cash at that point for a return trip to get home.
All told: I left my house with a trunk full of stuff; only to be brought right back home and charged $136 cash including a $10 tip for the headache and inconvenience.
After coordinating the logistics of taking Yellow Cab to a County run storm shelter: I was picked up by one of their drivers named Gilbert.
It would have been easier and safer to stay home and flush my money down the toilet.
DON'T CALL YELLOW CAB!
Called for a taxi or two to transport 6 passengers. They said ok two is on the way. Ten minutes later they call with one of the drivers on the line saying he only has room for 2 people that I need a van and that he doesn’t know how to get to my location. Get a call about ten minutes after that both taxis are about five miles away. Then about twenty minutes later they call back asking if I needed a van. I said I thought two was already on the way?? They said no, one is on the way. Then when I asked what happened to the disappearing taxi she was ignoring me and talking over me. Yes I need enough space for 6 passengers. Then the original taxi was still lost and going to be here after the new taxi. After all this the passengers I called for ordered an uber half got picked up before the first taxi arrived and the second half got picked up before the original taxi arrived. Get it together. Uber or lyft are definitely better options, even for business travel.
Now; It's two months later and I've been e-mailing some character named Yushi Railey at their business back and forth for a week. After numerous emails she has the nerve to tell me that the County run storm shelter was full and that is why the driver brought me back home. Then; in that same email to me; she states that she is closing out the complaint on the basis of that information.
Couldn’t ask for a better transportation company. I totally recommended, their costumer service is great and their drivers are always kind and respectful! Great service!
