Eggplant Parmesan is wonderfully delicious and the portion is huge! Baked goods are always fresh. The bread is worth the indulgence. It's easy to find, I come here early and never have an issue finding street metered parking. Coffee is nothing special but it's tasty. Indoor and outdoor seating. Comfortable indoor ambiance. Being able to see the bakery action is always a focal point when I bring guests.
The eggplant is what keeps me coming back.
But this bakery is so much more... As a new patron, you will be enticed by the wonderful aroma emanating from the kitchen from blocks away, as you stroll down Las Olas Blvd or drive by with your windows open. You should follow the invitation with your nose, because the selection of outstanding breads, fresh paninis, fresh pizzas and delectable pastries, as well as aromatic espressos, will reward your palate in more ways than one.
Great bakery! beautiful crusty, high quality old world style breads. Fantastic croissants but when you order a croissant sandwich they smash it into a disk of sadness with a panini press. Price is high for what to you get but quality justifies.
Inviting and spotless, with great atmosphere both indoor and with umbrella covered street side seating, the friendly and smiling staff eager to take your order. And the food? Tutto buonissimo! You will not be disappointed :)
Staff however, never friendly, no matter how big I'm smiling they seem inconvenienced.
We have been good clients of Gran Forno since it opened so many years ago. And with Leone and his wife making this fine bakery only better as the years go by, it is always a pleasure to pop in every week for our needs. We buy fresh ciabattine or rosette and freeze them in ziplock bags. Then as we need, thaw them out and they are as fresh as they were just baked. Delicious!
Amazing local Bakery with everyday fresh bread !! I highly recommend Gran Forno Bakery... Fruit Tarts are simply the best but not limited to ... all the Italian delight that the Gran Forno Bakery offer are very tasty and organic. Every time I visit, I have the feeling I am in Italy and eating home made Bread & Pastries ... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED PLACE !
