Most disorganized library ever! Returned checked out items in the drop box and was charged late fees when they were returned on time; Went into the library to personally resolve this and was told it was taken cared of back in 2012. Now 2017, I want to renew and the late charges are there for those particular items of 2012 (5 years later!!!). Called the library to resolve this AGAIN- spoke to April, who was condescending, rude, and barely allowed me to get a word in. The library should be MUCH friendlier and organized, especially when it's becoming a dying art with children/adults using electronics rather learning to open books and check them in/ out...
This is a small but Mighty Library with happenings for all ages. They have a lot of computers here and I've never seen people waiting for them but maybe it's just the time of day I go. I'm researching my ancestry and it's free at all Broward public libraries. There's a tiny little bookstore where you can get hard covered books for a dollar. I think the best part of this library is the children's section. they have it well laid out and it's very children friendly.
Great library. Space is good. I am on Davie Rd. Ext. and University Drive, and this the one I go to. That is not to say I don' t love them all, I do.
The people are very nice, and so are the staff. Wonderful views, and great internet. I love the books and movies. I'm glad this library exists. I've had very good experience.
it's separated from the Adult section so the adults can have quiet time while the children can get Lively. The friends of the Stirling Library are very active and have many programs going on, check out the webpage. There is a drive-through to drop off your book so you don't even have to get out of the car. there is plenty of parking in the parking lot.
A very nice place very lively staff is helpful and understanding although parking can be hard to come by sometimes
