Cute and informative. It's really small so I'm not sure if you get the most bang for your buck but the staff are simply charming.
It's a historical place with cool history no doubt, but it's definitely over-hyped. Don't plan on spending a whole lot of time here. Call the place to make sure they haven't closed it for a private event.
Wasted my time finding this place only to find it closed for a private event. No sign out front saying it was closed. Had to wander into some office and was rudely told that I missed the last tour by 10 minutes.

Call ahead to make sure they aren't closed for a private event. Wear comfy shoes, and be prepared to go up and down the staircases. Buy something from the gift shop and help support this non-profit organization.
Loved learning about a preserved piece of history from the area. Tour guide Tommy excellent, enthusiastic, knowledgeable. Made the tour interesting and fun. Met John in the gift shop who had met Mrs. Stranahan on several occasions-- made history come alive even more. Well worth the time to visit and step back in time.
