I tell everyone about this place and the first time I was able to get a group together with me to check it out...... there was a band playing INSIDE the building... mind you, this band had all the bells and whistles and was so loud people were standing across the street listening because of how loud it was... you couldn't walk inside even if you wanted to because of how loud it was... I didn't see an increased customer base at all.... I was so disappointed and I actually felt let down since I'm such a promoter of this place.
I love this place and I'm happy to give it 5 starts but I want to see this business still here in 6 months or a year from now so I think this review is needed....
We randomly found Bar Red Beard online and saw that it had excellent reviews. They have an extensive selection of beer and wine. I ordered The “Big Mickey” burger, it was really good. The tater tots were amazing, unlike any I have ever had before. The burger came with four sphere shaped tater tots with a crunchy fried shell and a soft inside of shredded potatoes and Gouda cheese. Honestly they were the best tater tots I have ever had and the sauce that came with them complemented nicely. The server was friendly and recommended a great local beer.
Great beer list. Awesome food. The best cheesecake cake I've ever eaten. They even have great movies playing. You have to pay for City parking but it's only a couple dollars for like 3 hours. Oh they also have outdoor seating and is dog friendly.
I'll still visit often like I do.. but they really need to stop trying to be so many things and focus on what they actually are.. an AMAZING place with great craft beer and out of this world fresh food that couldn't be matched even by Whole Foods if they tried. People will find you and talk about you. Don't change who you are each day to attract people. Trust me. People already love this place if they know about it.
The food here is excellent. Service is great and a wonderful selection of craft beers and tasty wines. Will definitely come back.
