Best place on the beach around this area. Everywhere else is way to expensive and ridiculously loud at night. Someone selling earplugs would make a fortune down the street. You can go here for a nice meal breakfast lunch or dinner then go party somewhere else. Bartender here is also the best. I eat at the bar, instead of sitting outside, just to be served by her and drink yummy drinks.
Excellent seasonings, large variety and large portions of food. Located on main drag in Central Ft. Lauderdale overlooking ocean. Great for people watching. Reasonably priced. Dress casual. Ask for Marcello. Superb at his job.
The plates are nice, the clothe napkins and furnishings nice but the breakfast was just average, I feel if they are going to charge higher for the food then the quality should match. My pancakes were standard/average with maple flavored corn syrup instead of real Maple syrup etc.. my wife's steak and eggs were the same... I paid about 1/3 less a block or 2 down with the same ocean view .
I am here at this restaurant with three friends. The service was very slow, the table was dirty, the plates are chipped and my food arrived with a long strand of hair in it. I spoke to the manager Keith whose response to my complaint was “we don’t have anyone with that hair here”. My party has natural hair. Rather than offer another meal he took the plate away and took my friends plate away without asking. When we asked for the owners contact info he said to google it. I’ve eaten here before w/o a problem but never again will I come here. He has not apologized for the inconvenience nor the loose hair or his attitude. I will speak to corporate. As the only table with minorities I believe we were profiled and treated poorly because of our race.
